Tournament
Entry 2010 The
closing date for this years Tournament was Wednesday 14th
July. Any late entries received first post Saturday will be accepted. The
final entry for ALL entries received so far is displayed on this web
site. PLEASE CHECK carefully that you have been entered in the events
you applied for. Also check to see if you appear in the Reserve waiting
lists for events 28, 29, 33, 34 and 35 some of which filled very early. Incomplete
Pairs There
are still 140 players whose names have appeared on entry forms as
partners in Doubles Events but as yet they have not paid or entered that
event. I shall be contacting all players who are in this situation in
the next few days to ask players to either pay for that person or get
them get their partners to send an entry to me. Deadline for these will
be Wednesday 21st July. After that I will assume that you do
not have a partner and will enter you as partner required. In
the case of the full events, incomplete pairs will be replaced with paid
complete pairs from the reserve lists. Those
that entered Partner Required but owing to a shortage of entries to pair
up will also be replaced by full pairings. To
avoid disappointment please check your partner has entered. Reserve
Lists Players
on this list will be placed in the draw as pairs withdraw. In the event
of long lists their may be little chance of making the final draw,
especially if that is your only event.
Options open to these players are as follows: - (i)
Withdraw
from this years tournament. Entry fees will be refunded (ii)
Alter
an alternative event. There are spaces in all the singles events (iii)
In
the case of U16 Doubles you could enter the U18 Doubles but still stay
on the reserve list. If I do not
receive any correspondence I will assume that you wish to stay as you
are. Entry
Check In
the next week all entries will be double checked for errors and change
of partners. Expect further changes to the published lists. ALL ENQUIRIES regarding entry to me at 01485 541431. (Best time is between 4.00pm and 6.30pm) (ENTERED FRIDAY 16th JULY 2010)
